Default January 16-18th

I'm just wondering if anyone is going to be up riding the weekend of Jan 16-18th. It may just be me and the wife, but we're going to be there for sure for the weekend. I've never been west out of St. Iggy towards Naubinway, or east toward DeTour so those are my thoughts for the weekend.

Don't think I would try going east. Some guys at our motel last weekend went that way and they ended up getting real wet. Swamps aren't frozen over there yet. We did Newberry to Ingidine and thru Cut River last weekend and it was great.

The run from St. Iggy to the Soo is also a great run. About a 200 mile round trip, and don't recall ANY rough trails. I talked to a couple guys on Saturday night who rode from St. Ignace all the way to Shingleton and back. 380 mile day...
We ran through some swampy areas on Thursday around Naubinway, but it got cold enough Friday night to freeze them over. We went back through there on Saturday afternoon and it was good.

Hey Rugburn, Sheila, Matt and I will be there that weekend. We are going Up friday evening and coming home Sunday. If you wanna hook up we can make that West trip but I'm not going East. Too many swamps and its too early. We can ride over to Curtis and you can check out some real sleds..Doo Rules!

We'll plan on it then. You staying at the Super 8? I haven't decided if we are going up Thursday or Friday evening yet. It depends on if the wife can get Friday off.
