Default The week between Christmas and New Years...

Hey all... We'll be up the week between Christmas and New Years. The gilfriend and I have the whole week off so we'll be up Wednesday 12/26 and leaving Sunday 12/30. If the trails are ridable, it'll be St. Iggy for sure, if not...I'm driving until I find snow....I could be a Canadian ey? Let me know if any of you guys will be up there that week and we'll get some riding time in...

OH! Great story... really quick. I bought some plastic skis on Ebay. According to the description, one of the skis was broke and unusable, but the other was in decent shape. I won them for $35 shipped to the door... about 2 hours in the garage and a few trips to Ace hardware...that "Broken Ski" has a new set of bushings in it, with a brand new set of 10" woody's carbides... All said and done...upgraded from crappy ol' steel skis to plastic skis for less than $100...

Planning on being there myself that weekend if there's snow. Don't know who'll be with me yet. That's one of the 2 weeks my 26 year old son gets off during the year. Would like to bring him up. He hasn't ridden in 3 years.

My work was kind enough to cancel those three days for me and they need me to work a few hours on New Years eve... Wasn't that nice of them?

So, if the snow holds up & the storm comes through on Monday, who is riding between Christmas & New Years starting in the Ignace area? Have room booked 26 through 30.

Kenny, Todd, Kevin and whoever is going to be up there the weekend of the 5th of Jan.
We'll be coming in mid afternoon on Thursday the 3rd. Will be staying at the Super 8. If you want to get together and ride, what day works? Wanna go to Seney or something like that. We don't ride like a bunch of crazies but we keep a good pace. Like to start early in the morning. Especially on sunny days.
Let's try and get something together. If there's snow.

Wink, I won't be getting there till late Friday so Sat would have to be the day for me. I have a house in Moran on Brevort Lake right behind Chucks. I'm game on going anywhere. Lets hope it snows before then. We will be up no matter what the conditions. Early morning is good for us also.

We also won't be there until Friday evening, Wink, so Sat will also be the day for us. Early morning works for us, too. Think snow!

Let's try and plan on Saturday. We just have to figure out where we want to ride.
If we ride to the Soo, we can meet at McGowans in Trout Lake for breakfast or outside Chuck's and ride from there.
If we ride to Newberry and Seney, we can maybe meet at Brevort for breakfast. We like going to that little diner directly across from Gustafson's.
Just some ideas. Let me know what you guys think.

Wink, Either way sounds good to me.I think we should probally head the Newberry Seney way looking at current reports. Neil just sent me a message about this ride and said we are gonna need some snow for it to happen. I sure hope we get some snow so we can actually go on this ride.

May not be as bad as I thought. It is snow right now. We are sending both groomers out tomorrow morning, and they are going to report back. Then we will know exactly what is happening.
