Default Castle Rock Road

Any word on whether or not Castle Rock Rd will be plowed down like it was last year? The select few fingers that I have left are crossed and in hopes it will be back to normal.

Even though we have alot of trees painted for clearing around our area, I don't think there will be tons of logging to contend with this winter.

It has been confirmed that Round Lake Road will NOT be plowed this winter. There is supposedly some wood that still needs to come out of Castle Rock Road, but it isn't supposed to be a huge operation like last year. We are in talks to get them to come in off of M-123 and only plow a portion of the road. I am not sure exactly where the the work is being done yet though. It will only be a huge problem if we get meltdowns like last year. If it stayed cold, it won't be as fun, but it will be passable.

There will be a big logging operation going on North of the Kenneth road this winter. The will not affect our operation, except maybe those who like to sue that backway shortcut up to Rudyard.

I will post more info in the News when I have it.

I can't release info just yet, but I do have news about help with rogue trucks on some trails this season. Again, I will post it up when I have full details & confirmation.

Sorry to hear about Kenneth Rd. It has been hit on/off with the plow over the years. 16 Mile was plowed all the way through for the first time last year. That was a bummer. Not sure why, hoping they don't do that again.

We are S of Rudyard, and use those roads to hook up the the Straits Area.
