Default Trail Conditions 2-09-14

Trails are all in fair shape, not up to our standards, but defiantly are getting choppy with moderate use today, and heavy use on Saturday - probably the busiest I have seen all season.

We will have a groomer on-trail tomorrow afternoon and plan on running it as long as we can to get things fixed back up on the East side of the system.

TASA is going to come down and do some long runs and fix up the Caffey and Cut River trails for us. THANKS A TON GUYS! They are going to run those trails on Monday and Wednesday. Kinda neat that they will have a groomer that will see Lake Superior and Lake Michigan all in a couple days run time.

The plan right now is to get things back on track by next weekend, and really the trails are in good shape considering the traffic and lack of grooming.

Stay tuned, I should be able to release our whole lack of grooming story in the next couple of days.

Default Re: Trail Conditions 2-09-14

Update: 2-10-14 Due to mechanical issues, we had to suspend grooming over the weekend. As of today we have a groomer on the trail ripping and tearing things back up and getting it smoothed back out. TASA is going to help out on our Western tail on Monday & Wednesday, and we will cover the rest. I expect to get a groomer back on Friday and we should be up to full some for the weekend.

Truthfully the trails did have some chatter bumps in them but are in pretty decent shape considering our groomer issues.
