Default Weather Conditions 12-27-18

Not much of a reason to update this morning really, but people are wondering. There is so much uncertainty with the next 48 hours, things are going to change dramatically. 9&10 is calling for a net LOSS of snow for this storm, remember the freezing line is going to push way up into Superior and by midnight tonight it is supposed to be 44d+. Good news is wit teh storm tracking further North/West they have also pulled down the precip amount some, from 3/4, now predicting 1/2" of rain. Still alot to deal with, and I expect some of the woods to flood. Windy now, hopefully we don't lose many trees. Much colder temps should freeze the base in very good this weekend though.

All I can say is stay tuned, I will give an update Friday or Saturday once things start to shake out more. No way I would plan on riding around here this weekend, but let's see what next week's storm shapes up to be.

Iggy got hit hard. Grass is back.
Trails are saturated. If anyone is out there, please try to stay off the main trails until tomorrow and they freeze. Water holes and piles of slush are all that is left. There isn't enough to go and groom flat before it freezes, but what is there it would be good to let it be.

Forgot to mention, it is currently 46d.

Did I mention it is currently 46d? And it is December 28th?

Looking like there can be a New Years Day storm. Calling for 2-3 for sure, and possible 5in.

Felt like Spring the last couple days down in Buckeye land. Got up into the mid 50's yesterday (New Year's Eve), and were blessed with a ton of rain... and 40-50 mph winds. How awesome... said no one. Hopefully things get turned around once 2019 gets started
