Default Trail Conditions 4-02-18

Ya, OK, so we got 3.5" in Iggy over Easter weekend, and 4-5" North of us. This brought the trails back to a fair condition. Early season riding is prevailing right now, with some base gone, you will find rocks and thin corners poking through here and there.

So the big thing is the forcast for the coming cople of days. BIG snow headed our way, with 8"+ in Iggy, 6" in Trout Lake forecasted. We will kow what we truely get tomrrow evening, but it looks like right now we ARE going to extend our season, do a mid-week groom and have trails ready to destroy this coming weekend. Even another small snow is being talked about for the Great Lakes on Friday, and with no real warm temps, things may be in very good condition for the coming weekend!

All of our trails are open, however we are not going to be grooming towards Cedarville. You are good to run everywhere between Iggy, Trout Lake, Brevort, Epoufette and Rexton. I am not sure if there will be any gates closed North of TL or Rex, you will have to consult those clubs.

Just a trace of snow overnight, but the heavy cloudfront was hanging over the North end of Mackinac Island this morning. It is starting to snow now. NOAA is still calling for 8" here before tomorrow.

You talked earlier about maybe doing a club funded grooming for $450 is that still under consideration?

If we get enough snow we going to run the groomers over at least part of the trail. That should lock the snow in for the weekend.

It has been kinda warm all day. Some melting on contact.
Been snowing pretty good for a couple hours, but don't know if we even have an inch yet?!
