Default Trail Conditions 12-26-19

Well hope your socks that you got for christmas fit. Sorry to say we got nothing but coal in the stocking around here. Trails update is simple: it has been above freezing for the last few days, and it is basically going to be above freezing through new years, with a rain storm coming in on SUnday. Results are trails are pretty much waterlogged rivers are this point, there is some dirt popping though, and any use at all is going to destroy them. We hope to try to save them middle of next week, but at this point I would recommend heading way North or way Northwest in search of decent snow.
Sorry I don't have better news for you, but not going to sugar coat it, this is a major meltdown. Hopefully you can play with those new Christmas toys, and gear up for January riding - the long term forecast is good for a 'normal' winter, whatever that means.

Over 40d this morning, it was super foggy all yesterday and light drizzle this morning. We have lost an amazing amount of snow, and trails are shot anywhere not in the deep woods. No improvement in the cold weather department, going to have to look to next week for cold temps - it is scary but there may be almost no snow left by the time we get our next snowstorm.

Rode from Brevort to Rexton today. Tried to head to Cut River and had to turn around due to the poor conditions. This area is in major trouble if we donít get some snow. Calling for rain tonight and tomorrow, if that happens that will destroy what little is left.

We've received about 10" plus in Rexton so far today and it's still coming down. Might actually get the sleds out tomorrow.
