Default Trail conditions 4-02-13

Many of the trails are still in good shape.

Snow is a bit sugary but laying out flat and looking nice. No water holes in the forest trails. Want proof? Taken this morning.

Wow!

I wouldn't expect anyone to find good conditions anywhere throughout the UP

Heading up Thursday. It's been a long time since I rode St. Iggy in April. I can't wait. Thanks for the pictures.

Grades is going to be in tough shape, side of the roads too, but you can get into the forest trails and have a heck of a good time. If riding out of Iggy, I certainly would trailer to Castle Rock Rd, and head from there. 2nd option would be get North of Moran. Wayne said Castle Road to Cut River is in good shape, few thin spots, and no water holes. It is getting cold around here at night.

Today is April 5th. Temps this past week have been mildly cold. If we would not have had 3-4 days of warm last weekend, all of the trails would still be in perfect condition. As it is today, things have not really changed since my last report. Forest trails are mostly flat, and in good shape with plenty of March riding snow. RR Grade and sides of roads are tough going, but with some pavement grinding you can get from place to place.

Watched the weather this morning and they are talking a decent storm for tomorrow in the UP. Rain down state, and accumulating snow in the UP, followed by a little rain.

I hope mother nature isn't using up all her 2013 snow in the spring, I want it next Dec!

If you can ride this weekend, squeeze another good trip out, if not dream of next season, and have a great weekend.

April 11th and I saw on the Weather Channel App that Iggy is under a Winter Weather Advisory. 4-8" of snow/sleet between today and tomorrow.
Come On, Man... your teasing us!
We had a storm yesterday and last night that gave us 3" of rain, with more coming as I speak.. Ok type.

I understand you got about a foot of snow last night. Don't use it all up now, save some for December.
