Anything is possible, my feelings are that I doubt that bud wants to have a shared driver arrangement though, and Mark won't run full time. My sources close to the situation (OK, Julie reading the internet) tell me that Bud it looking at Casey Kane, in the #9. Bad move in my opinion.

So we used to have the Miller High Life car, then the MGD, and now Miller light, do you think we will finally see a brand change with the team/driver change?

Oh ya, and Harvick is crying why? Was it just me, or did he not make the first contact in that whole deal?

I read the same thing about Bud and Casey Kane.
Isn't Busch leaving the race series next year? Maybe they will sponsor a car in the Cup series.

THAT WOULD BE COOL! I have always preferred Bush to Bud, and I can say that I support a whole series, rather then just that red driver, which I am just sick of hearing about. Bush did have a car, back in the late 80s, early 90s I think.

On another note, better run and hide, my driver is in his mid-season surge mode, and gonna carry it right through Homestead. swearing and 29 bashing and all, the pumpkin is on a roll.

Would you lay down already with the pumpkin talk.... He did have a great car at Indy. Harvick is just blowing his horn. Him and Tony are the best of friends and it would take alot more than that to stir them both up. If memory serves me correct the last time smoke won Indy he went onto win Watkins glen.

As far as bud I have heard they are intrested in teh Everham group. Casey or Elliott is possible.

Ya tony goes on to win at the road course is the word but i think hes going to have some one knocking at his back door like Jeff Gordon the points leader that has opened it up to a 371 point lead so i am predicting that Jeff Gordon will be your race winner next weekend since he is so steller on the road course!!!!!

AAAAAAAAAhhhhhhhhhhhhh Crap.

Bush to JGR? JGR to Toyota? Crap.... double CRAP. I hope this one is wrong, but HOF is looking for RCR engines for their Chevy cars, so it don't look good.

Anybody want to buy some Tony stuff? I will not back a Toyota driver, period.

It will be me, and that other guy in the stands rooting for Robby Gordon.

Tripple CRAP.

Breaking news. Chad Mccumbee is driving the 45 in place of Kyle Petty this weekend at Michigan. Kyle broke his hand after the race last weekend at the glen. Another great chance for Chad. Go 45

OK Guys, finally got the camera downloaded and sized for the board.
We went down and ended up at the track first thing on Friday morning. Turns out that was the only day that it did not rain . Julie and I stayed in a pop-up and by Monday everything was damp, no cloths left and just plain bummed about everything. However at the last minute we lucked into a pair of suite tickets that the original owner could not use because he had to go back to work. Lance! So out of 10 people in our group, we were the only 2 that toughed it out! Since everything was kinda damp and dirty, Julie and I headed to Lansing on Monday afternoon to stay with a college buddy of mine. He took us in for a hot meal and shower then we headed out to BUY clean clothes for our suite experience! Tuesday morning we drove back to the track, and I am pretty sure someone fairly high up in the food chain from the front office drove us in a golf cart from our parking spot all the way to the elevator.
When we got to our suite, Julie and I and another couple were the only ones there! The Dupont people had to head to Bristol the day before so the 4 of us were there all alone. The suites have a private bathroom, , small bar, buffet, TV with race broadcast from MRN or TV and 35 stadium seats... comfy. Lucky that the FedEx girl took pity on us from next door and invited us over for beer, pop and great eats. Go Denny Hamlin! The race ended up a fairly good one, with decent racing. Damn Kurt Bush won again (OK friends remember when something else weird happen to me at a track? Answer: It snows at Bristol, and Kurt Bush wins)
After the race, we headed North, picked up the camper in Lansing, and then pushed on to St. Ignace. A long day but we had so much time and $$ invested by that point, there was no way I was leaving early.
This concludes yet another edition of the MIS mis-adventures.

2 pics of the view.
Then, remember that there were not too many people working? Well, no security on the stairs, so we headed to the roof. Yep that is me at the very top of the suite tower, in the spotter stand. Oh ya, I met this hot crew member from Monster racing too!

Jeff Gordon? I thought somebody said Robby Gordon! What do ya mean Robby doesn't have a suite??? I was hoping for JJ Yeley in a 4th Childress car to root for next year, but no such luck. I'm actually not jumping ship from Tony quite yet (Shhh, don't tell anyone), but I think the hubby is going to need some major antidepressants tomorrow morning!

Last edited by Julie : 09-04-2007 at 07:22 PM. Reason: Edited to add: I'm off to hide my Tony stuff before Neil tries to sell it on me!!

I figured Neil would have to jump ship and I don't blame him. My friend Kyle that works down there says Tony may jump off the Gibbs ship but said everything has been pretty quiet. There are just a few rumors of that going around. Denny has said he's happy to stay with Gibbs and so has Kyle B. It should be intresting tomorrow.
