Gibbs did well again, they are looking good this year, just need a bit of luck-but thats normal. I can do with the 48 for quite a while. Poor Jeff looks like he was gonna cry after the race.

The Gibbs boys seem to have the COT figured out pretty well along with the Hendrick team. Its so good to see Mikey going home and having negitive points

Did you see in todays paper Jeff was saying how racing Jimmy will be looked at differenty now with Jimmy blocking him so hard yesterday but then goes on to say thats what Jimmy should have done. Must have meant thats what he should have done to someone other than a part owner of the car

Off week, sort of, now back to Texas. Jr got the dip in the corner fixed, so he can't complain about THAT this year.

Bristol update: The rough grading is underway with red/orange Tenn. clay in the front, back stretches, and turns 1 & 2, demo of the walls and track surface in turns 3 & 4 is underway now. http://instacam.aws.com/showcam.asp?id=KTRI&size=S

Appeared to be a fairly boaring race, watched most of it on TIVO fast forward. Our guy Tony had a time of it though. Poor JR fans have someone to hate for next week.

What was up with JR driving Kyle's car at the end? I was driving and they didn't elaborate much on what happened on the radio.

Nearest I can tell, miscommunication on the 5s part and Kyle left the track. (or was afraid of Jr fans) 5 teams pulled Jr out of press conf and asked him to drive, he jumped at the chance to see someone elses car. He did a few laps at the end which moved the 5 ahead of the 48 (which also helped Jr)

I think Tony was sideways most of the day.
Busch needs to open his eyes when he drives.
The last 10 laps or so was the best, Burton and Kenseth racing hard.

Oh the carnage! The 'Jr Nation' cedes and form their our country where Jr can do no wrong!!

Tony Jr's explanation does not jive with me. Why test with an illegal part when you know you can't use it?

Gibbs is looking good!

Denny Hamlin has that cot rolling. Now he needs his pit crew to get on board. I know Hendrick is gwtting all the press with the cot but Gibbs is right there and with alittle luck Gibbs would be the one being talked about right now.

did anyone watch the prelude to the dream last night? Tony has really made that a great event and it was some great racing the entire night. Elliott and Newman got togerther coming across the finish line and Elliott ended up on his lid. Edwards won.

That was a typical boring race weekend at MIS. I was there for the truck race Sat and was Sheila's first time there. She even said to me that was the longest 100 laps I have ever watched.

On a better note it was great to see ya Kevin and Cathy. Hope you guys made it home ok.

I was reading Tony S comments this morning about being so happy about a third. He said I wanted to make sure AJ passed us on the first lap so we came from last to third.

I think Bristol is gonna be awesome. I sure hope it racey.

Neil its not that I dislike bigger tracks Michigan just has so many grooves that everyone gets spread out and doesn't race with each other. Hope you guys have a great time at the car show.
