Default My winter prediction.

Here it is guys and gals. I am having some elective surgery (nothing serious, just body parts giving out) and will be unable to ride for possibly 2 months. So I am predicting St. Ignace will have an epic year. Yep, I'm taking one for the team. You guys will have snow a--hole deep on a tall Indian. If I'm able to get UP in February you guys can buy me a thank you beer at Timmy's.

I understand the bowling but the snowmobiling? Grab the stones and get through the surgery recovery quickly.

Decided to have it this time of year because it is supposed to be a "slow" time at work. Now we just picked UP a 7-1/2 million dollar job. 30,000 ft. of pipe to put in the ground. Supposed to start in January. At least I know I have work to come back to.

Anybody notice that Wink never mentioned WHAT body parts were giving out? Elective surgery? HMMM. I didn't know it took that long to recover from something like that
Thanks for taking it for the team, Wink! Wishing you a speeeedy recovery, and hope you're back in the saddle soon. Let's shoot by the end of January.

Thanks for all the well wishes. I didn't want this thread to be about my surgery. I was just explaining why you will have a winter with record snowfall. It's that little black cloud that follows me. I think it is somehow connected to the one that follows Kenny also!!

Update - we will have no snow, sorry. Met with my surgeon today, had a long discussion and cancelled surgery (total knee replacement) for now. Surgery was scheduled for Dec. 10. Not enough pain yet!!! Cortisone is working good enough to stay with for now. So now you can blame me for the bad winter if that's what comes to be.

Cortisone is a wonderful thing. Had a shot in my elbow a few years back, no pain since.

I would say seeya on the trails Wink. But now we will not have snow.

Thanks Wink!!!!

Stay away from the shots if you can! I've had a bunch of them over the years and the end results are no good!

He's talking about shots that involve needles, Mark. Although they kind of go hand in hand with the 1 oz. shots. Cortisone... or Yukon?

Wink/knee surgery(can't ride)= possible blizzard

Sorry Wink was way to quiet on here, had to stir the pot a little

Riders, def not me. I'm heading to florida tomorrow. It should be cold or 75/85, this 40 and rain sucks. So taking the golf clubs and heading south for a few days. UP NORTH

As for sleds, had a few, always looking at the new stuff, $$$$ kind of scary for the miles and short season.
Rent one and ride like ya stole it sounds better to me these days lol

Was doing some Christmas shopping last weekend. Looked at all the video game consoles but couldn't find any snowmobile games to get me excited, so just went to BW3's to drown my sorrows.
COME ON, SNOW!

I'd like to be able to sit in the other green thing I occasionally use when UP there. The one with the stereo and heater. Is it ever going to freaking SNOW?????

Who's this guy? Haven't heard or read a single thing from the guy with probably the second highest post count on here. Maybe he finally crawled out of his hole after the U of M loss to the UNDEFEATED Buckeyes

Undefated buckeyes? What bowl you playing in?

After your new coach buys your boys rings for their new achievement and they start selling them it will be the same ole story next season. Did you read Morice's comment about his CFL contract? "I made more than this at Ohio State" What a school to be proud of....lol
