I wouldn't go as far as saying I miss him, but do hope you're feeling better. What a lousy way to end the season. Good thing I wasn't up there, we'd have duck taped you to a sled and it would have looked like "Weekend At Bernie's".

Thanks everyone. It sure way pretty scary for a minute there. Matt and I are finally home and I go to see the specialist today at 3 and will know more then. I can't thank everyone enough that offered help to Matt and I after I went to the hospital. The one weekend that Sheila doesn't come up I end up in the hospital and have to worry about Matt and what I'm gonna do.

Well heres what happened. After spending some time in St Ignace hospital undergoing some tests they were worried that I ruptured myappendix. Well they then come into my room and tell me I'm going by ambulance to Petosky I kinda freek out as Matt is with Todd and Jeff finishing the poker run. I talk them into letting me get Matt and him driving me to Petosky. They agree that should be ok but I had to go right there. I get Matt at the VI and I go. They tell me they have a room waiting for me at Petosky. Well they did and it was the operating room After further tests the surgeon feels comfortable its not my appendix but it is my colon has major inflamation. Well to make a long story short I'm feeling much better now andthe pain has gone down a ton. He has me on some very strong meds to take away the infection and I see the specialist today to see what further treatment I may need.

I'll tell ya the Docs at both hospitalswere great. That hospital in Petosky was beautiful but I sure hope I don't see it again. One thing that was pretty freaky was seeing all the snowmobiliers that were at the hospital in Petosky. The surgeon told me I was the first snowmobilier that he seen today that didn't hit a tree. He had operated on 9 that day and they all lived up to the time I was there. It was surreal for sure for Matt and I. Be careful out there everyone!

Oh I forgot I'm sorry to anyone that was trying to talk to me at the Vi. I was pretty freaked out and just wanted to get Matt and head south. We will hang out again soon.

Thanks Neil. I can't thank you enough for all the help and concern this weekend. I echo Winks statement when he said he just may have more friends up there than at home. I can't tell you how many people from St Ignace/ Moran that called all day Sunday and Monday. Right up to home delivery of food and groceries. Thanks again.

Just talked to Kenny a little while ago. Wow, what an ordeal. He's going to see a specialist today. He'll keep everyone posted soon. Again, he couldn't say enough about all the support he received from everyone. People he knows from this site and locals at St. Iggy. You sure are a great bunch of people.

Heres the update. Went to see the specialist and he said the inflamation has gone down nicely. He is sending me for the colon test next week to find out what happend and how to treat it from there. Hopefully nothing serious and just a better diet which I need anyway

Thanks again to everyone for the kind words and helping us out this weekend.

All this talk of you and your colon. You are leaving yourself so wide open!!!! But alas, I'm really trying to be nice. For a change.

Thanks Karen. I felt bad not talking more with you and Stan when I seen ya but I was pretty shook up and just wanted to find Matt and get going.

Your right about the people up there. They don't just have a smooth trail system to ride they are right there if you need any help.
