Default Trail Conditions 3-08-18

Not alot of change out there from the previous week. Everything has been decently cold, and frozen up, which has kept what little senow we have and the ice base intact. I did get just a little more info, and it sounds like the trails on teh North section are marjinally ridable, meaning you can get from Epoufette, to Brevort, and Trout Lake to Rexton OK, but not great. RR Grade coming into town will need 4-6" to get it ridable again. Of course getting into/out of towns isn't great, and the places where we use teh sides of the roads have been burned off.
We did get a very little snow over the last 2 days, but only about an inch. Makes things white again covering the grass but not alot of help for riding.

There is a small possibility we will send out the Brevort Groomer to do some in the West & North trails over teh weekend. It may only be to see what is out there and to smooth out the small stutter bumps keeping the base prepped for more snow. Other then that no groomer runs needed nor scheduled.

Forecast is more of the same. Cold enough to hold onto things, and maybe a small snow on Monday/Tuesday.
COME-ON MA NATURE SEND THAT NOR'EASTER TO THE GREAT LAKES !!!

Last week the Brevort trails were nice, plan to head up this weekend and ride them up to Trout Lake for Beer Tasting at Chamberlin's.

Love your thoughts on grooming out of Brevort...hint hint.

To answer the previous question, trails north of Trout Lake were really nice, probably the flattest they have ever been. That was from Brevort to Strong’s, passing through Trout Lake.

Welcome Steve!
