2 for sure coming up. I know it's early but what time do we meet and where on Sat. morning? I'll bring a small 12" chain saw for trimming. Maybe some other tools if needed. Will probably go to the Rock Bottom for dinner on Sat. We like to give Chuck as much business as possible whenever we're up there. I'm sure he would appreciate anybody else's business also. Besides, he's a 'biler. Then it's on to Timmy Lee's!!!!

Well I guess if Wink is going to the Bottom I guess I can show up there. I've been known to hang around there from time to time.

Wink, Chuck has a wedding that night and won't be at the bar.

Well that little peckerhead. If he's not there we probably won't go. I'll have to give him a call. Today's his day off so I'll try his cell. Last year I printed the invitations for Sam that used to work for him. Nice kid.

Haven't quite figured out the after party yet. I want to check and see what is going on at the different places. Likely Halloween costume parties and such - gotta pick the best one.

No prob Wink. Chuck and Jerry are driving down Sat morning and we are meeting at the show then going somewhere for dinner and drinks. I know a few from here usually meet up at the snow.

Kenny, don't buy anything for your sled before talking to me first. I am a dealer for High Performance Engineering and Goodwin Performance. Have been for a long time.

Less than a week away now. Everybody ready?
Lots of work to do, but should also be a good time.
We should be ironing all the details out later tonight.

Equipment:
If you have and would like to bring:
chainsaw, power polesaw, power auger, cordless screwgun I know that we could use it!

Club meeting tonight, with a few VERY IMPORTANT things to be discussed.
The crap may hit the fan - statewide - and very soon. Everything will come to light and I will report more when I can speak for more then just myself.

If anyone has any questions, post them up! Otherwise we will see you this weekend!

Just 2 of us coming up Friday nite. Jim gave us great rates at the Super 8. Should get there sometime Friday eve and leave Sunday morning. We'll have cold beer in our room (when we're not at Timmy Lee's). By the way Neil, I don't know how you arrange the box lunches but maybe check with Chuck at the Rock Bottom. I bet he'd work something out for us and he's close to where we'll be working.

Neil -

Be sure to post an outline of the weekend events - where you guys will be when. We're up toward Rudyard at our deer camp - but may be able to swing down for a couple hours if we know where to meet the crew.

Dave,
We are meeting by 8:30 am in the ice rink parking lot, and will receive assignments from there.

Generally I want to send crews to the furthest points, and have them work back South and East. So if you hit any of the Northern or Western trails and head toward St. Ignace, you should find us. The exception is the Cedarville trail. If I don't have enough people, we will be skipping that one for now, and hit it later from town.

If you are coming for sure, would you guys like some Lunches? How many?

Wink, at least it is 100% rain like last year. And got lunches from a good Biz member, at a great deal, I will check with Chuck next time.

Is anyone planning on bringing a power auger? (planning purposes)

Neil - Don't worry about lunches for my brother (Ken) and I. Will bring chain saw(s). I guess we'll start driving in from Trout Lk side along 123 until we find the crew. We're heading up Thurs after work.

Well guys if you are heading up grab some warm clothes and a rain jacket. Mother nature will not allow us to sign unless it is raining I guess.

Lunches are ordered and people are getting things prepped. I will try to get some stuff out tonight and get it ready. I think we are going to hit it with 3 signing crews and maybe 2-3 brushing crews.

A few people are gathering at the Driftwood tonight, and probably Timmy Lee's tomorrow night.

Hope to see ya here!

Default Brushing Event - 2007 - Complete

I have been informed that all of our trails are brushed and signed. Thanks to all those who helped with the project. Of course if someone has a feller buncher I can borrow, we can always kill some more trees!
