Default St. Ignace casino

Does anyone know if you can stay at the casino and ride from there on sleds?

There are no trails to the Casino. I have seen sleds ride there, but you ride the shoulder of the rode.

I tried it once. Never again, riding the shoulder was not pleasant.

We stay at the Budget Host Inn or the Super 8.

Budget Host about 200 yards from the trail.

Super 8 close to the same, but you have to cross Highway 2. Not bad to do.

Both these Hotels support the trail system and club.

Both Hotels have Casino shuttle service.

Look at the location on google maps. As others said, there is no trail, so on maps you can see what you have to ride to get to the trail. You are good to go once you get across to teh West side of I-75.

The absolute best way to get to the casino... assuming we have good ice, is to jet all the way back into town, and just cross main street and then ride from the trail head. Kinda backwards, but the best option... in a normal year.

I will let you know if we had a normal year... in Feb!

I agree with what everyone said. The casino shuttle will pick you up at any of the local hotels. Super 8 is where I stay.
