Default Weather Conditions 3-23-16

The warmer weather melted 98% of everything that we had, ground made good progress at thawing too, and people started to work a bit on yard work, it was looking like an early spring for sure. A system moved though yesterday and brought less then an inch of snow, everything melting on the roadways, and sticking to the grass somewhat. Huge winter storm predicted for tomorrow covering the upper 3/4 of the lower. We are supposed to get 1-3 out of that, it will be interesting as some places are predicted to get a foot, and a few days ago they were calling for 18"-28". I seriously doubt that will happen, and what we get will be well on its way to melting this weekend being in the upper 30s. It is just going top make a mess is all, not enough to bring our trails back. You may sneek a quick ride down in the Grayling area if you watch the storm closely.

In the meantime, I am working on finalizing my end of year paperwork, and moving towards summer projects - which I will detail more at a later time.

This seems like a decent snowstorm. top 3 wind events for this season for sure. Accumulation is tough to figure with the winds, but not much yet. Guess it will rage until this evening, so interesting to see what we end up with.

If we get 12" I will run the groomers one last time. Less then 8" not going to bother as it is going to be high 30s this weekend.

It is blowing and drifting like a MF here in Iggy. I can't say how much we are getting cause it is completely bare on the drive, but 10" drifts around the house. I would guess in the 4" range so far.

Went out little ride. It's not bad but it's like early season riding for sure. Going out tomorrow to ride all the 2 tracks off the Burma grade. Cory
