Thumbs up Yamaha SR Viper Turbo

Well me any my brother Jeff worked all weekend installing the factory turbocharger accessory kits on our new 2016 SR Vipers. Brings the motor output to 190hp

These kits were developed by Mountain Performance. Top quality and great engineering.

This is not a quick kit to install. Spent all weekend on this project. Still need to hook up the electronics, but the mechanical part is pretty much done.

Here are a couple pics showing the turbo installation.

Those 1200's will be fast, but they won't keep UP with a Viper with a puffer on it! Have to dig a lot deeper in the pocketbook!!!!!!!

Now that most of us have itchy thumbs, I'm starting to look forward to the 2017 1200 turbo. No wait. What?

Super excited to ride new sled! Really enjoyed installing our turbo kits, studding, etc... Fox QS3 shocks look to be very nice addition over standard models. Boost and heated seat will be nice feature for fast rip down Burma Grade!!

I hope I get a chance to see your turbos run this year, it will be interesting to see just how much quicker they are than my n/a viper. Did you change the gearing for more top end? Todd- I'm sure you saw all the info on ty4, did you guys get the new motor in yours?

Yeah Ben Jeff and I have the new motor, we will see how it goes. Didn't change the gearing yet, just put in clutch kits so far.
