Default Trail Conditions 3-06-14

Trails are wide flat and fast, just what you want to hear.

Temps are moderating and will be in the mid 20s for the coming week or so which is perfect for riding, just what you want to hear.

The riding over the next couple weeks proves to be the best riding of the season, just what you want to hear, if you are here!

Make those trip plans, as there is only 4 more official weekends in the season.

Grooming is progressing on schedule and there are no issues at all out on the trail. There are a few big rollers on the South 1/2 of the RR Grade, but perfectly rideable even at 70mph. People are still riding to the island. I have not heard of any issues, but check local conditions before using it.

Wayne is famous this week as he made the local paper. You can get the headline, but the rest is subscription (sorry) http://www.stignacenews.com/

Groomer is headed out right now...

Had a hydro leak on big green. Decided to change it up with a different length and cutters to see if the rollers will come out some. Don't know if it is working, but we have it so we use it occasionally.

We had a driver issue on the run out of St. Ignace last night, so we could not get a full run on the South loop. Big thanks to Wayne for getting up really early and at least doing the RR Grade from Iggy to Moran. It isn't perfect, but it is very very ridable.

Absolutely tons of traffic yesterday, maybe the most of the year just tore parts of the grade up horribly. You are going to get that easily with warmer temps and a deep-deep base.

Have fun today, we will get everything fixed up tonight on our regular run.
