Default ORV Ride April 13th

We have nothing to do with this, just thought you would like to know.

ATV Off Road Club of Michigan
http://www.atvoffroad.net/ hosting an ORV ride from St. Ignace to Curtis Leaving from St. Ignace April 13th. from the trail head downtown at 10 am sharp. Heading towards Curtis while stopping near cut river for lunch. Once we get to Curtis we will offload our luggage then head out and play towards Seney. There is a little mud and other things fun along the way after Curtis. This ride is ATV and UTV friendly. This will also be a faster paced trip that the sport quads will more than enjoy this pace. Saturday night we will be unwinding at Talley Ho that evening in walking distance from the hotels. Sunday morning we will enjoy breakfast downtown Curtis then head back to St. Ignace by three or four. Even though this will be a fast paced ride we will not push anyone past their comfort level. Everyone is responsible for booking your own rooms and arriving on time. The more the merrier!
Friday night - Super 8 - 923 US 2, St. Ignace 906-643-7616
Saturday night - Curtis Travelor's Lodge, Curtis 906-586-9719
Parking for trailers Saturday morning - Little Bear East Arena, 275 Marquette St, St. Ignace.

From the sounds of it they might want to push back the ride. If mother nature and the DNR cooperate we might still be riding sleds then. If anything I think there may still be to much snow to do any "playing" off trail on the ATV's. Neil you can confirm or correct this but the way it sounds, if it doesnt get too warm, you have at least two weeks of normal base and a week of reserve snow left.

I agree, baring a major rain event, you very could still be riding sleds on April 13th!

Rode atv in Indain River this past weekend. 90% was on snow/ice, still a good 6'' of ice on some of the trails.
