Trail Conditions 2-18-19

Good, bad and ugly.

Good amount of snow. Bad snow conditions. Ugly trails at times.

I will find out later today when Groomer #5 is going to be back.

I will get more trail info out later...

I guess I have a really hard time believing that. Our stuff is the most torn up it has been in over 8 years. Even the month from hell when we took dow 4 engines in 3 weeks was FAR better than this...

The guys are doing what they can. The daytime grooming is necessary, and helps for only a short while. The groomer only sat for 4 hours in the last 24.

The Groomer ran all yesterday morning, and then again late into the night.

The groomer only rested for a few hours this morning.

Well, I think I have figured out that it take me about 1 hour to plow, for every inch of snow we get.

I plowed for 9 hours today. Just saying.

Thanks to Baders crew. They retrieved #5 off...

So they just closed the Mac Bridge due to a crash.

And for the first time in my life, they closed the main street from Family Fair to Mackinac Trail to the casino on the North due to zero visibility...
