Floyd, Griz and I were UP this past weekend and rode Friday and Saturday. Friday we went UP to Newberry for lunch at Timber Charlies, then down past Curtis and Engadine, thru Naubinway and back to Iggy. 185 miles for the day. Curtis was getting hammered with snow at the time.

Saturday we went to the Soo. An absolutely gorgeous day. All the snow from the day before was hanging in the trees and not a cloud in the sky. Probably in my Top Ten Days of Riding. Finally decided to find the "Antlers" restaurant. Pretty cool place. If you ever go there for the first time, tell them you want to see "All the whistles and bells".

Once again, the Straits trails were the smoothest (and best signed). It was obvious that our club does the most work on the trails in the off season.

Here are a few pics. The first 2 are on Dam Road. The other 2 are on the grade between Strongs and Raco.

Just curious, how many miles did you make it after the fuel light came on?

I think he went about 30 miles, but he was staying in the throttle most of the time, could probably go 40 miles if he woulda taken it easy.
