Last Year...pic. Won't happen this year

Here is a pic from last year. We stayed in Cut River and road just about every inch of Straits Club trails. A little Cedarville, Kinrross, Snow Chasers and TASA too.

It was a GREAT DAY, it was a Saturday in March and all the trails were EXCELLANT. In this picture is my buddy Sgt. 1st Class Barry Bates. This was his last ride on a sled before being activated from his reserve unit and sent to the middle east. Barry loves snowmobiling more than anyone I know. He would be losing his mind with this winter. Let's all pray Barry comes home safe and is up riding the Straits trials next year :cool2:

I agree...it looks like there will be no riding to the island this year! I made the trip in 2003 and we all talk about it to this day. We tried in 2002 but weren't able to make it at that time either. It is a thrill going over the straits with the bridge hanging ominously over your shoulder! I hope to get over there once again as you and Barry do too.
