No problem Sat morning, then 3-4" Fresh snow on Dick Rd Sunday morning for our ride. 400 miles and not even a 3 day weekend.

Maybe not right place to put this, but here report.

Straits Area - all Great, from Cedarville connector thru to Burma. Didn't check the trail S of Trout Lk where they had been logging - anyone with report?
TASA - Good Newberry to Rexton - Rexton to Trout Lk terrible - so we turned around and went South from Rexton - that Good again.
Chippewa SC - Trout Lk to Rudyard, bad Fri/Sat, but groomer did make a run late Sat night (strange - this trail usually rocks - groomer problem?)
Paradise - Falls trail 45 - Good shape even with traffic (most weekend traffic that way) all the way to Newberry. No problems thru swamp areas.
Brimley - Outstanding all the way around

Yep, we were on the Dick rd. friday. Got on before it was plowed.
We rode it up and down.

Did you guys know that Bobby Gay rd. runs right to the Dick rd ?

Look on your trail map.

Could someone report current conditions on the Dick rd. Might have to use it next Saturday and I am wondering if it will be useable if we get a little more snow.

We went east out of Trout Lake on trail 473? friday on our way to Paradise and "headed up Dick Road". (The trail north of Trout Lake towards Strongs is a brown out due to the logging going on). There was definately enough ice and snow to keep things cool then, but not sure what Saturday's warm-up did to it. I would say that if they got any of the snow that went through there on Sunday night things should be fine. We heard that the trails around Rudyard and Pickford where they run along side the roads are toast, but since we never made it that direction I can't say for sure. Just going on what we were told by others.

Thanks for the report! Yes, Rudyard sucks this time of year.
