Thought I would drop a note for you to share. I have been meaning to via snail mail for a while. But since I found this forum I will do it here.

I used to drive WWAAAAYYY past the Big Mac to ride. Years ago when I was young & dumb. Then I stopped in Brevort one night on a lay over to Copper Harbor. Decided to check out the trails.

Darn was that a good idea. I am a member of a neighboring club to your north and usually lodge there in Strongs. Sometimes I stay in Cut River and head north & east. So I will be having dual club memberships now, mine up there, and joining the Straits too.

You guys in the Straits over the last 5 years have stepped your program up to be even with the best :cool2:

I have groomed, signed and brushed trails before. So I know what it takes. We downstaters APPRECIATE your efforts and truthfulness in trail reporting. At least this one does :thumb:

You will always get the straight up skinny around here from me. I know that you guys will not stand for false reports just to get people here. Ticked off people will never return, false reports are just not worth it, and I personally nor the Club has nothing to gain from it. We do this as a service to our riders. I live and work in St. Ignace, and use my drivers, and people I know to get reports for the outer trail system, as I can not ride nearly as much as I would like. I report HONESTLY what I know, and try not to speculate.
