I have not heard about any in the St. Ignace area for some time, but always keep this in mind:
"Guys.... and Gals....
We are seeing an increase in late model Sled thefts in the Eastern U.P.
05 or 06 Orange Acrtic Cat and a Rev Adrenaline were stolen from Newberry Last weekend.
Same Weekend: Stolen was an 2003 Arctic Cat F7 Green w/Yellow Ski Tips, Belly Pan and hand Guards from Sault Ste Marie.
When you guys are riding away from home, lock your sleds in the trailer at night and try and make it hard from them to lift it into a truck or trailer.
Run a chain or cable through the tracks and lock them to something solid.
Do not leave any tools or gear bags unattended.
If you see someone with an extra sled in their trailer that wasnt there the night before, Call Law Enforcement ASAP. Anything suspicious DIAL 911."
