Made it through the weekend with flying colors it sound like. Groomer ran some double shifts to make things smooth, and from what I could see it worked great. Everybody had fun at the Bent Ski Classic Poker Run, and I will update more on that later.

Weather today is fairly sunny, with light flurries, and they are calling for 2-4 inches today, and another 2-4 tonight. Yesterdays big storm with lots of snow never happened in St. Ignace, in face the majority of the snow was rain. It rained off and on all day Sunday, with some freezing rain, snow and sleet mixed in for fun. Don't worry, it hardly affected the trails at all, and the best news it that the rain was mostly snow just a few miles North of here. Moran North saw 2-5 inches of fresh stuff Sunday and should be getting more again today.

The groomer is running again this morning out of Brevort and will get that fresh stuff packed down for the Monday riders. Trails are rated in excellent condition, with between 5 and 20+ inches of base.

Keep the rubber side down, and make plans for next weekend, the riding will continue to be super! Also this weekend will be the UP Pond Hockey Championship on the bay in St. Ignace. With many teams coming from out of town, better check your reservation early!
