Well, why am I posting new trail conditions? There has been really no change since the last post, so I will not re-hash it here. I will say however, that although the thermometer read above freezing today, I did not see any melting. I have not talked to a groomer drivers first hand, so I can not report on base depths today. I will try to contact a driver tomorrow.
I did talk to our Pres. Jim a few hours ago, and I wanted to let people know that the groomer is still running. It went out all day yesterday, and is out again now. Mostly still panning, and the trails are holding up, believe it or not. However, apparently we are having trouble with someone driving a truck over several sections on trial. :censored: I have been told that it might be a local fur trapper. Just to make the rules clear, no wheeled vehicles on a designated trail between December 1, and March 31. We are going to send the Sheriff out to see if we can catch this guy/guys, as they are ripping things up.
On a different Note, after yet another delay, the new groomer should be here tomorrow, :wowza: I will believe it when I see it. Stay tuned for some real nifty safety upgrades that we will be rolling out within a week. I will post that in the news section, as soon as it becomes official.
