Weather Conditions 1-07-08

[Snow VP]

Warm, Foggy light mist and 36d today. It was near 40 all day yesterday and is forecast to break records today and tomorrow. Tomorrow there is a 70% chance of heavy rain, that is not good. Our local weather guy says there will be little snow left anywhere in the entire state after Thursday. Things are not looking good at all.

I think that the ice base will hold up in the woods areas, but anything out in the open will be done fore. Groomers are parked until further notice. The whole state is in bad need of snow. Sorry not better news, but it is what it is.

Neil, we left there around 4 and it was light mist in Moran. Looking at the towns from the highway there isn't snow anywhere that can be ridden in the lower. We stopped in West branch both ways and on Friday there were sleds at the gas station and on Sunday it was all grass. I believe it when the weather guy says there will be no snow left. We are almost there now. This is some crazy weather for sure.
