Spring? :conf:
Yep that is what it feels like today. It was fairly warm yesterday, and we have drizzle today. The groomer did not run yesterday, and we don't plan on running until after Christmas now. We have lost some snow in St. Ignace, I hope the outer trails are doing better. I have not checked them, but I can guess the RR grade is not fairing well. Any sleds on the trial will quickly destroy them in these conditions.

Forecast is to get colder for Christmas, and possibly some snow, but I am not banking on that right now.

At least the new groomer is supposed to be here on Tuesday. We have 2 new drivers to train next week.

I will be gone for the weekend, so if someone wants to post conditions, that is great, otherwise no big deal. I don't anticipate conditions changing for several days

A Posting Change:
Since I did not anticipate people posting in this forum, I have been sticking, and closing each trail condition thread. From now on, I will stick the current trail report to the top, but not close the thread. This means that if you wish to ask a question, or post a response to the trail conditions on a current date, you may do so just by replying to the message. (I will add this note to current conditions all week)

Well, darn schizophrenic weather - what do you expect, we are in the UP! ;)
The drizzle has turned to snow and is coming down a a decent clip right now. It is still fairly warm, but this might help keep the trails in the their current state.

Thanks for the up-date. I am planning on coming up the day after Christmas and riding from the Sault to Drummond and back. Please let me know if you think it's worth the drive up.

Thanks,

DJ

Hey DJ,
I have heard that Drummond had a decent amount of snow. I was shopping the the Soo last weekend, and they did not have any more snow than we did, before the melting began. I would check out those specific area websites for some more reliable conditions. Also check or call someone from Cedarville if you are going to ride there, as I have heard their swamps are not froze yet. We have no swamps in our entire trail system(except a 50 yard section) so I don't know if those areas are froze yet. (I read today that TASA just North of us are having problems with their swamps.)
So like I said, go to those areas for their trail report, you can use the new map that I added, located in the announcement at the top of the trail report page.
I will be leaving for the weekend tomorrow, so I will not be updating trail reports until probably Monday or Tuesday.
Happy Riding, and come back and post your response! Oh ya, later in the season, I hope you will stop in St. Ignace to see us to ride!
