Welcome Ron :waves:
Check out the St.Ignace site www.stignace.com
There are motels listed there, but there are a lot that is not. We have stayed at Driftwood,Village Inn, Boardwalk Inn. The trailhead is right behind these motels.Budget Host is near the trail also.
Hope this helps.
Have a great summer.

Hi Ron, welcome to the best club site one on the net!
If you are looking at lite Feb, I would suggest starting the weekend of the 16th, with our Bent Ski Classic Snowmobile Adventure race, (fun for the whole family, details to be released in the future) our brand new winter carnival the following week, and closing the following weekend with the UP pond hockey championship, on the bay!
Plenty of places to stay, please do a quick search of the board, as it will turn up tons of info on that subject. We will be adding in the business sponsorship section of the website next fall, FYI.
If you have any questions at all about the area, please don't hesitate to stop by and ask, things are quite slow around here this time of year, but will pick up dramatically next November.
Welcome,
-Neil

Ron, Glad your planning a trip to the St Ignace area. You will not meet any nicer people and the trails ane unbelievable. If I was you I would look at the Budget host or the super 8 for a bigger group. Both right at the trail and both owned by members of the club that donate alot of their free time to make sure we have the smoothest trails to ride. Another great place to stay on the trail is the Boardwalk and its a bed and breakfast but could be too small depending on the size of your group.
If you have any questions please feel free to post them here of email me and I would be more than happy to help you out. If your gonna go that week that Neil has stated i will be there the entire week and would love to show ya around a few days.
Ron,
Good choice. I've been riding the upper and lower for the last 25 years. For the last 15 I've been averaging about 2000 miles a year. About 5 years ago I tried St. Ignace for the first time and I've been hooked ever since. My buddies and I like it so much we leave our trailer there all winter. Great people and best of all they actually use their groomer. You'll be glad you went there.
