Well, I woke up to 5 new inches of snow today, and it is still going. Good heavy stuff too, no fluffy lake effect.
I helped Dave hook up the drag about an hour ago, and he headed out in the Groomer. After the first pass there is about 4" of packed base in St. Ignace. Enough to ride, but just barely, and only for a few people. We are hoping that this smooth base will get a real good freeze on it and will help keep the trail smoother as we get more snow.
