Snow VP

This is getting to be like a broken record.
Got a little more snow, didn't make much of a difference.
Same conditions today as on last Friday. Our thanks to Kenny, who rode the majority of our trails, and confirmed the trail reports from a riders perspective.
Those conditions are:
There is only 1" of base on: The RR grade, St. Ignace to the Burma Grade cutoff, the Burma Grades, the Cut River Trail, and the pipeline. The rest of the trails have 2"-4" with the higher amounts on the Northern areas, (except right up by Rexton). At this point, all of the trails have been covered, smoothed and panned. We have to hold further runs until we get some 3" more snow, or the weather changes again.
The trails are ridable, but thin. The trails with only an inch on them will not hold up to much sled traffic, and the rest won't handle much more then that. The groomer tried to get the base very level and smooth before a hard freeze, and in that attempt Dave did get into some dirt here and there. You will encounter some rocks here and there, and some bare spots here and there, but overall the trails are ridable, just use caution.
