New Groomer Ordered !

Can you beleive that we are expecting twins? :eek: The Straits Club was awarded a grant to replace the aging 9 year old Cat groomer that we sold eariler this fall. We ordered a brand new John Deere Tracked model, that is in fact a twin of the machine that we received last spring. Delivery should be the first week of December to our fabricator, who will build the custom front blade and brush guard. We should take final deliverly just before Christmas. After delivery of the new machine we will also be ordering a new drag to replace the 9 year old drag currently in use.
So this winter be sure to be on the lookout for the 2 green monsters keeping your trails smooth. I will post pictures as soon she is delivered.

At last word we are still on schedule for the new machine. And it looks like with the snow we got today we are going to need 2 machines sooner rather than later!

Found out last night that the new machine was delivered to the fabricator late last week, and he is hard at it making the new blade. Word also has it that a new easier-to-use joystick control is available for that blade, which has a special tilting feature the operators love on the old-new groomer.

The modifications to last years drag are complete, and we will inspect it soon. We are still on track to get the groomer Christmas present!

Now just need some snow...

Well, got an update from the fabracator today. He is supposed to finish the groomer up this weekend, and since the trucking company is closed Monday, we should get the new groomer on Tuesday. :cool2: Lettering is ordered, and we plan on getting promo pics the middle of next week. You can be sure I will post them as soon as that happens.
Jim went and got the revamped drag on Monday, and Dave ran it last night. I hear it works a bit better.
