View Full Version : NOAA Snow Forecasts

I usually check the NOAA website for the forecasts out of the Gaylord NWS office. They seem to do a pretty good job (how well can weather be predicted anyway) Anyway, these snowfall forecast maps are usually quite accurate, so I thought I would try to post them occasionally when the weather gets interesting. If folks like the idea I will continue regularly:conf: Let me know what you think.

The maps cover 12 hour periods, so add the forecast depths up to see what MIGHT happen over the periods you are interested in.

The Snow Depth map is a little outdated, normally I will get a updated map.

Yeah, been toying with different sizes and such. can only upload 4 pics at a time, so I have to choose which are most applicable. We'll see what folks say. Actually, as i messed around with stuff NOAA updated. To upload the pics i had to get rid of the others due to available space.
