In case you have been living in a hole, there is a hurricane equivalent storm battering the Midwest as we speak. The pressure at my house is in a 29.75", making this a solid Cat 2 hurricane. Ran, sleet and snow are expected anytime, and if this were Jan-Feb it would shut down the state for days.

As for a relevant topic, I just got a call, and our trails out in the Brevort & Cut River area are getting HAMMERED. There is probably not dozens, but maybe hundreds of trees on the trails. It is gonna make the 2-track riding out in that area tough this winter if the hunters don't clean it up.

More info and pictures when I get them.

Huge storm no doubt.
Low Barometric pressure however does not make it a hurricane.
