Good morning folks,
I went out and checked on the groomers last night, and I have to say that all of the trails are in tip top shape. A good base, and flat in all areas, I put on another quick 60 miles last night. I did run across a few bumps on the Brevort Camp road, but that is scheduled to get hit today, and should be good to go soon. (That missing sign post will be fixed either Friday or Saturday). Everyone head on UP the trails are FINE!

On to the weather. They are still calling for quite high temps for Friday. If it really does hit 45d like they are saying, the trails are going to take a beating, and fast. It has been nice and cold over the last few days, and the Northern sections have gotten some Lake Superior snow, that did not happen South of Moran. If we get the warm weather the RR grade is going to go down hill and fast. I believe the rest of the trails will hold up. If you have the option and are riding on Friday, I might suggest trailering out to Castle Rock Rd, or maybe Moran if you have a place to go. That will save the RR grade, and still give you a nice ride.

We are working on adjusting the new drag. It is not cutting properly at this time, so you may see the old drag out again this weekend.

Attached are some typical pics of the trails. These are on the RR Grade out of St. Ignace, and on Castle Rock Road. and are quite typical of the whole system.

PS: If Jim Bartlett reads this send me an E-mail direct to neilhill@sbcglobal.net (neilhill@sbcglobal.net) I can not reply to the E-mail you recently sent.

Whats that up there? Yep thats the groomer pulling the new drag. I was going out to help Groomer Nick adjust some of the cutters on the drag.
